Aksar ye Ehsaas Hoota  hai Mujhy

Tumhein Koi Ehsaas Nahi Mera

Ajab Halat they mere, Ajab din raat they mere..

Ajab Halat they mere, Ajab din raat they mere,
Mager mein mutmayin tha ke tum sath they mere,

Mery sar key talabgaroun kii nazrein aisey uthti thein,
Ke lakhoun unglian theen aur hazaroun hath they mere,

Main ik pather ka gard alud buut tha un key mander mein,
Na dil tha na mere seeney mein na kuch jazbat they mere,

Kisi se aur kya tayeed ki umeed mein rakhta,
Wohi khamosh they jo mehram-e-halat they mere,

Mein jin sholoun mein jalta tha, shayed tum bhi nahee samjhe,
Mera dil mukhtalif thaa, mukhtalif sadmaat they mere,

Mujhe mujrim bana ker rakh diya jhutey gawahoun ne,
Sabhii rad ho gaye jitney bhii ilzamat they mere,

Tasawar ban geya tasveer akhir aik din Wasi,
Isi ka khauf tha mujh ko yahee khadshat they mere..
